Do you need help right away with a software issue that is hard to describe?  Would you like to avoid  reimbursing your consultant for the cost of  travel?   If these seem to describe you, then Remote Assistance may be the solution for you.

Remote Assistance is a technology provided by Microsoft on the Windows XP Operating System which allows you to invite CTC on a one-time-basis to observe your PC desktop.  During the session, you can allow CTC to operate programs on your desktop while you observe.  At any time you can take back control and kick CTC off your system.  You are in control!

To use Remote Assistance to receive help from CTC, you will need:
  • Your computer running Microsoft Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Vista.
  • Your computer  connected to the Internet.

In Windows, You can select:  Start - All Programs  - Remote Assistance - Invite someone to help you - Microsoft Outlook - BBlum@CraftedTech.Com - Invite This Person.  Fill in the e-mail and Send Invitation.

When CTC receives your invitation we will start to log onto your PC.  You will be notified and will be able to allow us in or to leave us locked out.

If you let us in, we will be able to watch you demonstrate your help issues.  You may then let us interact with your PC, and you will be able to see everything we do.

You control the security and what CTC can do. You can end the session at any time.

Please call Bill Blum at (404) 352-5457 to set up a time when we can expect your Remote Assistance invitation.
